Research Interests: June's research agenda explores the conceptualization and classifications of mental health, focusing on minoritized identities. They are a quantitative researcher who employs correlational and experimental research designs to understand complex dynamics within social identities and mental health systems in the U.S. June's undergraduate research project titled "Asian Values, Regardless of Western Acculturation, Predict Hesitancy in Use of Formal Mental Health Systems" examines how different aspects of acculturation and cultural values (like language use and the adoption of individualist values) independently impact attitudes towards formal mental health systems.
