Master's Thesis Title: "Leaving the Community: A Qualitative Study of Hijra Individuals in Bangladesh Education"
 
Research Interests: Prapti Anandita is interested in the sociology of gender and how it interplays with migration. She has successfully defended her master's thesis, which is based on qualitative research that she conducted in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with members of the hijra community, one of the most underprivileged sexual minority groups in the country.
