Research Interests: Katie Stinson is the Virtual Engagement Strategist for the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) Resource Center (RC) located at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. NRMN is an NIH grant funded initiative to diversify the STEM and research workforce. As Virtual Engagement Strategist, Katie works under the Principal Investigator of the NRMN-RC to manage recruitment, engagement, user support, and research of NRMN's diverse virtual community, MyNRMN. She studies health, illness, and aging, and is pursuing research for the biomedical research workforce as well as health disparities.
